Warticon is a cream that also contains podophyllotoxin – the same plant extract found in condyline. You put Warticon cream directly on the warts. Because it works best on small clusters of warts, by dissolving them and stopping them multiplying, it is normal to experience some skin irritation during treatment.

Doctors usually diagnose HPV infection by spraying an acid on the penis that makes infected skin whiter than surrounding skin. The vinegar-like acid is not especially painful, although it can cause temporary itching, especially when men do not follow their doctor’s directions regarding immediate washing to remove it.
Electrodessication is a treatment that needs to be performed by a specialist. Your surgeon will use an electrical current to burn and destroy external genital warts, then scrape away the dried tissue.
A Pap smear (Pap test) is a medical procedure to screen for abnormal cells of the cervix. A woman should have her first Pap smear (in general) three years after vaginal intercourse, or no later than 21 years of age. The risks for women at increased risk for having an abnormal Pap smear include: HPV (genital warts), smoking, a weakened immune system, medications (diethylstilbestrol), and others. Some of the conditions that may result in an abnormal Pap smear include: absence of endocervical cells, unreliable Pap smear due to inflammation, atypical squamous cells (ASCUS), low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (LSIL), high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (HSIL), cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN), and carcinoma in situ.

Warts occur in a variety of shapes and sizes. A wart may appear as a bump with a rough surface, or it may be flat and smooth. Tiny blood vessels (capillaries) grow into the core of the wart to supply it with blood. In both common and plantar warts, these capillaries may appear as dark dots (seeds) in the wart’s centre.
If it’s a plantar wart, it’s very hard to get a painless removal. But if it’s not, the freezing cans work the best. You might feel a pinch, but it won’t be any worse than if someone gently pokes you with a needle since your nerves will be deadened by the freeze. You could also try salicylic acid pads.
Use a citrus peel. Cut a section of lemon or lime peel slightly larger than the wart and tape it over with an adhesive bandage or tape. Refresh the peel every day or so and keep the wart covered for as long as possible. After about a week or so, the entire wart will come out completely.

“The warts returned after a year, but instead of going back to the clinic I listened to my mom who said she didn’t believe it was that serious and that I should consult a sangoma first’. The sangoma claimed to cure warts. I immediately started using the traditional medicine as she instructed, but my warts got worst and I was never cured.”
Some of the 30 or so types of HPV associated with genital cancers can lead to cancer of the anus or penis men. Both of these cancer types are rare. In those with a healthy immune system, they are even rarer. About 1,530 men in the U.S. were diagnosed with cancer of the penis in 2006, according to American Cancer Society estimates. About 1,910 men got a diagnosis of anal cancer.
Because all available treatments have shortcomings, some clinics employ combination therapy (simultaneous use of two or more modalities on the same wart at the same time). Data are limited regarding the efficacy or risk of complications associated with use of such combinations.
Warts are skin growths that are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). There are more than 60 kinds of HPV, some of which tend to cause warts on the skin. HPV stimulates quick growth of cells on the skin’s outer layer. In most cases, common warts appear on the fingers, near the fingernails, or on the hands. Certain types of HPV can also cause warts to appear in the genital area.

Genital warts are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). You can get genital warts in or around your anus and on your penis. Some people who have HPV get them quite often, while others get them only rarely if ever. Many men are carriers of HPV without ever having any symptoms. Genital warts will often disappear on their own, without treatment. There are different options for treatment.
Inquire about electrosurgery. This uses a high-frequency electrical current needle to cut the warts. Your doctor will apply a local anesthetic to the area first. Following the procedure your doctor may prescribe pain medication if needed.
During anal sex, HPV can be spread into the anal canal. Some types of HPV can cause changes in the cells inside the anus that can lead to anal cancer. The chances may be higher in men who are HIV positive and have sex with other men.
Regular Pap smears are recommended if you are a woman who has had genital warts, or if your partner had them. If you had warts on your cervix, you may need to have Pap smears every 3 to 6 months after the first treatment.
The warts commonly appear as flesh colored, gray, or white sized bumps. They are generally soft-to-the-touch, moist, and can be flat, or elevated above the skin. Some genital warts are smooth, while others feel rough and have darker surfaces. Warts can be present, but hidden by hair, or located in body areas not easily observed. When warts go unnoticed for a period of time, they often grow and spread, forming into a shape that resembles a cauliflower.
If a man’s long-term sexual partner has HPV, chances are good HPV transmission has already occurred and he also has it. HPV in men may clear from the body more easily than in women. Women, in general, often clear the virus in two years or less.
